Outside the Scope of Daily Wanderings
Shot on black & white analog film and printed on color photographic paper

Paris, october 1997
Here is my daily life and the various wanderings composing it. I took the paths that I regularly take in the same usual way and laid a photographic eye on the same objects. These places are only material referents of my environment, I do not try to make sense of them. These pictures are there to witness the mere existence of these places in the life of an individual, the daily places of a human existence. Cutting in time photography freezes the moment, puts it out of time and creates a new narrative. I focused on the narrative inherent to the photographic act by presenting the half frames and the black film that separates them.
